Study Space

The library has many places for quite study and reading.  The Alice Rudlinger Reading Room, located on the first floor, is furnished with high back chairs, sofas, and tables for those who require workspace.  Also, there are cafe tables for two located within the adult non-fiction area.  This area is WiFi enabled for those who wish to bring their laptops.

For those who need a more private area or want to work with a small group, there are three small study rooms located in the reference department.  These rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis; however Secaucus residents and library literacy tutors are given priority and will be able to make a reservation.  Study rooms may be reserved for a maximum of three (3) consecutive hours.  Please note, study rooms cannot be reserved for more than a month in advance.  Please call (201) 330-2083 for availability or to make a reservation.

Meeting Rooms

For larger meetings and programs, the library has the Panasonic Meeting Room available for booking when not being used for library programs. This room can accommodate up to 75 seated people or 45 classroom style.  There is a kitchen, television with a DVD/VHS player, wireless speaker system, computer projector and screen available upon request.

For smaller meetings, the NBA Conference Room can accommodate up to eight people and is available for booking when not being used for library programs.

Preference is given to library programs, non-profits, and local businesses and organizations.  Reserve early for best availability.
